Career Development for Elementary Students

PROVIDENCE BULLDOGS

MISSION STATEMENT

Providence Elementary is a school in transition, that accepts the challenge of systemic change and progress toward proficiency in 2016. The school's mission statement "We at Providence Elementary will reach for success and value the potential of all" is a direct result of the staff's belief that race, gender, or family background is not an indicator of individual student achievement. The goal of our staff is to educate every child, accept no excuses, and provide the foundation for all students to become successful adults in the 21st century.

Providence is December 2016 District Attendance Winner!

Congratulations to PROVIDENCE ELEMENTARY for being the December district attendance winner with 95.43% attendance!!

WC "All Day, Every Day" Attendance Initiative

A recent study shows that students who miss school more school than their peers consistently score lower on standardized tests, regardless of their age, demographic group or where they live.  Improving student attendance is an essential, cost-effective but often overlooked strategy for school improvement, closing achievement gaps and ensuring all our students are on-track to learn and succeed.
